STUDENTS CURRENTLY REGISTERED AT RIVERSIDE

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • Registrations will occur in Mozaik from February 3 to 10, 2025.
  • The parent(s) who live(s) at the main address will receive an email on February 3 to:
    • renew or cancel their child’s registration in Mozaik.
    • complete the course selections in Mozaik (high school only).
  • Parents who do not have a Mozaik account are strongly urged to create one before the end of January. Click here for the instructions: https://www.rsb.qc.ca/mozaik-parent-portal/. 

TRANSFER FROM ONE RIVERSIDE SCHOOL TO ANOTHER:

  • If you are moving on our territory, you must indicate it in Mozaik during the re-registration period (Feb. 3 to 10). You must then provide your current school with two proofs of residence with your new address. The school will process the change of address, release the file, and inform us. We will then contact you to complete the registration.
  • If you are not moving on our territory but would like to register your child as an out-of-zone student, please contact us: 1-877-550-2501, extension 6379.

NEW STUDENTS TO RIVERSIDE

IF YOUR CHILD NEVER ATTENDED A PUBLIC ENGLISH SCHOOL IN QUEBEC:

  • The first step is to determine if they are eligible for English instruction in Quebec. Click here for a quick assessment of your situation.
  • If it is likely that your child will obtain eligibility, you can book an appointment.

BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT (new students to Riverside School Board only):

  • The registration process is done entirely online. Click here to access the site (read the page carefully).
  • If you would like to register your child in the 2025-2026 school year, please return to the site as of 8:00 a.m. on February 3, 2025.

4-YEAR-OLD KINDERGARTEN:

  • 16 places available.
  • We register all new students during the official enrolment period (February 3 to March 28) regardless of the number of registrations.
  • Placement is based on the “Policy on the Enrolment Criteria for Registration” (it is not on a first come, first served basis).
  • Placement is confirmed at the end of April.
  • Anyone who we cannot accommodate is placed on a waiting list.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE FOR 2024-2025: Our 4-Year-Old Kindergarten is FULL and we are no longer accepting new registrations. We invite you to book an appointment on February 3, 2025 to register your child in the 5-Year-Old Kindergarten for September 2025.

5-YEAR-OLD KINDERGARTEN TO SECONDARY 5:

  • There are no limited spaces for our in-zone students who are eligible for English instruction.
