Major Government Financial Contribution Paves the Way for a State-of-the-Art Centre of expertise in Transport
In a significant boost to the educational and economic landscape of the Montérégie region, Riverside School Board is thrilled to announce the receipt of a substantial financial contribution of 19 200 000$ through the Québec Infrastructure Plan and the Canada-Québec Agreement for Minority-Language Education and Second-Language Instruction, effective from 2022-2024. The federal government is investing 9 million$ in the project through the latest agreement. This intergovernmental initiative will serve as a catalyst for the establishment of the much-anticipated Centre d’expertise en transport routier project, a cutting-edge initiative aimed at addressing the imminent workforce shortage and advancing the skills of professionals in the transportation industry.
