Important Notice Regarding Upcoming Strike Days

We would like to inform you about the confirmed strike days announced by the Common Front, involving Teacher, Professional, and Support Staff Unions. The strike is scheduled to take place from December 8 to 14, inclusively.

As a result of these strike days, there will be modifications to the services of schools and centres across the Elementary, Secondary, and Adult Education and Vocational Training sectors. Please be advised that no student services will be offered on these specific days, including daycare services.

Outings and activities scheduled during these strike days will be cancelled unless the school advises otherwise. Any questions regarding reimbursement for services or activities will be communicated directly with the parents concerned.

Riverside School Board respects the strike mandate and recognizes the importance of the work of its staff. Nevertheless, we understand the challenges the situation may cause to families, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time.

We recognize the importance of maintaining open communication and will keep you updated on any further developments or changes. We also ask you to keep an eye out for any new communications, as negotiations are currently underway.
