From February 13 to 17, 2023, Hooked on School Days pays tribute to all the people in young Quebecer’s lives who make a difference. We recognize their crucial role in students’ motivation, resilience, and self-confidence, and we salute their commitment to making perseverance at school a priority. Their congratulations, guidance, encouragement, explanations, sympathetic ear, and support are of great benefit to young people, and indeed to all of society.
Students develop a sense of perseverance at school through the kindness of those around them. Behind every young person who works hard at school are adults who play a vital role, and you are one of them.
Modification to the School Calendar
Further to the closure of all schools and centres of Riverside School Board on December 23, 2022, due to the inclement weather warning, we would like to advise you of the cancellation of the first conditional pedagogical day. The conditional pedagogical day scheduled for April 28, 2023, has been cancelled and is now a regular school day.
Exception
Royal Charles School will have its school-based pedagogical day on April 28. Daycare services will be available to registered students.
Further to the closure of Harold Sheppard School on January 26, 2023, due to the inclement weather, we would like to advise its community of the cancellation of the second conditional pedagogical day. The conditional pedagogical day scheduled for May 31, 2023, has been cancelled and is now a regular school day for Harold Sheppard School.
As well, further to the closure of Courtland Park International School on February 6, 2023, due to the flood in the school, we would like to advise its community of the cancellation of the second conditional pedagogical day.
