St. Mary’s K-4, K-5 and SAIL classes joined Ms. Roselli’s class this morning to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and honour the Indigenous children who were sent away to residential schools.
The students gathered in front of the school where hand made flags were displayed.
Thank you to M. Pasternak who joined the groups to sing and play the guitar.
Each student painted a rock to symbolized their uniqueness. To symbolized that every child matters.
